Martha Marie Wasser has been captivated by art her entire life, studying various mediums & techniques while also mastering her own select styles.  She specializes in modern nib calligraphy, and pen illustration, which are apparent in all of her finished works.  Having a focus on minimalism & modern design, she aims to create artful and elegant pieces that stand out from conventional & overused design trends.  / /  With years of experience working in the stationery & wedding industries, she’s able to use her knowledge to offer clients as much support & transparent advice as possible.  She finds it important to establish laid-back & friendly client/designer relationships, resulting in an easy-going collaborative design experience for both parties.  / / After years of working at other stationery companies, while side-hustling her own business, she has had the joy to make Amour & Ink her full-time career 5+ years and counting.  She oversees all creative direction behind everything you see, and takes great pride in doing so. 

Martha resides in Philadelphia and works out of her beautifully eclectic home studio– surrounded by house plants, an ever-growing crystal collection, and an adorable ‘South Philly stray alley cat’, Lil’ Baby, who now enjoys a spoiled life indoors. / / In addition to being an artist & designer, Martha is an avid tattoo collector, spiritual herbalist, practicing green witch, urban gardener, and would joyfully survive off of laughter and Prosecco if it was humanly possible.
